4) Check SIM Tray and Card:
Step 1: Remove your sim card from your iPhone and make sure that there is no dust on the sim tray. You can also blow into the sim card slot on the iPhone to remove any dust and put back the sim card again.
Step 2: In case if you have an unlocked iPhone, try replacing the sim card on your iPhone with a sim card from other iPhone and see that whether it is working or not. Alternatively, you can also try using your sim card on another iPhone and see if it works.

5) Rule Out Water Damage:
Step 1: Take a close look inside the sim tray open and if you a white circular sticker. If the sticker is all white or silver your device is free from water or liquid damage.
